WHAT DO WE DO?
There is time to grieve, and there needs to be time to live. We are on a mission to provide free Life Reentry Support Groups for people in transition due to financial, emotional, medical and socioeconomic loss. Our Foundation helps communities set time aside to come together in life after loss, making the future less fearful and more accessible to all.
LET’S BEGIN AGAIN
We believe in a future where everyone has access to new beginnings.
Life Reentry exists to redefine grief and change the consequences of an outdated understanding of loss, which results in a prolonged and unhealthy mode of survival. This unhealthy mode of survival has tangible negative repercussions for health, personal and social wellbeing.
Our vision is two fold. First, to bring forth a new thinking in addressing loss as an intrinsic and foundational part of the human condition. As well as to make new beginnings accessible to all who are in need, and in doing so eradicate discrimination against someone’s right to begin anew due to race, gender and financial status.
WHAT IS LIFE REENTRY?
Life Reentry is a developmental pathway, a 5 step framework that safeguards re-entry to life after surviving a loss. It is a psychological model primarily born out of the need to interrupt brain’s habitual nature of survival post loss and to guide the individual from a survival based life to a thriving and fulfilling one. Life Reentry frees the mind from an infinite life of suffering in the waiting room after loss.
